Brazilian Oak, also known as Tauri, is tan to medium brown in color and has a medium graining pattern. In addition to being visually and economically appealing, this hardwood is also highly resistant to decay, impact, and insects, ensuring long lasting enjoyment of a Brazilian Oak floor. It’s extremely similar to North American Red Oak, but 13% harder and sits at a high 1650 on the Janka Hardness Scale.
